If you’re like most people, you’re probably feeling like Susan’s Still Alive Day (SSAD) has just snuck up on you this year. (Yes, it’s TODAY!) And you’re probably wondering how you’ll pull it all together at the last minute
Well fear not! Susan herself (if she IS Susan!) has given us the Official Party Instructions, so nobody needs to be left wondering if they’re doing it right. So… grab those bananas, and get living!
SUSAN'S STILL ALIVE DAY:
Date: August 22
Official menu: Banana pancakes and breakfast potatoes of some sort (banana bread, cake etc. also acceptable)
Official Mascot: Gran from The Croods
Official Song: "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees
Official Hashtags: #ssad (appropriately an anagram of SADS)
15 Ways to celebrate (15 is my favorite number!):
Dance to the BeeGees in the kitchen while making your banana pancakes.
Watch "The Croods" together as a family. Or for more adult viewing watch "The Shawshank Redemption".
