Three years ago today, I published my first podcast episode, with Jeffrey Tucker, then editorial director for the American Institute for Economic Research, and now founder and president of the Brownstone Institute.
I think we were both reeling a little, from what we were witnessing being rolled out as we spoke. In California - where I lived at the time - we had just learned that we were going to be ordered to stay inside our homes, “…except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of the federal critical infrastructure sectors.”
It was an order I dutifully ignored, but it - and the rest of the insta-dictatorship that sprang up quickly around us - nonetheless freaked me out. I think, during this interview, Jeff and I were both in a bit of a state of disbelief.
Since then, Jeff has gone on to become one of the shining lights in the movement to report the truth about Covid-19 and the disastrous government responses to it. His Brownstone Institute has provided some of the best coverage anywhere on these issues.
This interview is a little rough - it was my first episode - and I completely messed up the introduction (imagining that it was only going to go out to my small circle of freedom buddies) - but if you can get past that, it’s well worth the listen:
