I loved this piece and your interview with Jeffrey Tucker. All of this has weighed heavily on my mind lately. I used to have long discussions with an economist when I was in Dallas working for Fidelity. We were both open borders (if I mentioned his name you would be surprised that he was an open borders proponent). When both governmental and supranational and NGO support is heavily involved, it no longer is either those families applying for legal immigration or that people risking life and limb on their own volition to create a better life for their children. Yes, anyone can see that many are being victimized on the treacherous path, and a humanitarian crisis is brewing. I plan on ordering your father’s book.
