I know, it seems like it was just yesterday. But here we are and another year has gone by, and we’re only a week away from Susan’s Still Alive Day!
I hope everyone is stocking up on bananas!
For anyone who doesn’t know what I am talking about, Susan’s Still Alive Day (SSAD) is the day upon which we celebrate the continuing vibrance, life force, and indeed, very survival, of Susan May.
Susan explains (from last year):
“A year ago I posted my own commentary with multiple screenshots of an article. It got shared quite a bit. Then someone who was triggered by my post implied there was a chance - a good chance even?? - that I would be dead in a year.”
Susan told the story and posted screenshots of this exchange, which you can see here:
Facebook didn’t like any of this. It declared her post (about her interaction with the person who didn’t think she’d be alive a year later) to be “misinformation” and blocked it from being viewed. You can read all about that here:
But none of that stopped us from celebrating with full force when the day came! Here’s how we did it, and how you can do it too, next Tuesday:
I’m hoping to grab Susan for a quick catch-up podcast before the big day. Stay tuned!
