I have read that surgical theaters have controlled climates with increased oxygen. I’m not sure if all of them are that way, but if it’s true, maybe it helps compensate for the mask wearing?

"also stupid enough to put a plastic bag over their head and expect it to protect them".

Over "here" they're making plans for "Monkey Pox" while at least half of the employees are tired of being forced to wear a mask or they will be fired. Meanwhile a doctor was question how these jabs are any good IF you still catch the Covid? (Answer was, "well that's why we keep taking the boosters....")

So we really need to address what "stupid" is. At some point, are we stupid to be calling morons stupid? I'm not asking for a fight, I'm in the same boat. Fool me once, twice, okay 82 times...I quit. The buck stops HERE.

If we're going to identify what stupid it, then we have to consider what stupid is NOT. It's not: rational separation of gathered evidence; investigation into detailed analysis of the concept, behavior, to determine what is evident surrounding the topic; temporarily halting one's beliefs on what SHOULD be and instead, looking for what IS (see above).

Stupid to me has what amounts to being foolish and willfully ignorant. Ignorance due to hypnosis is one thing, but just being arrogantly knowitallish is something worse.

As for these Fact Checkers, many of them are WOKE Americans who have made it their life mission to interfere with the truth, and instead have chosen to only forward their personal agenda.

Facebook has me on permanent shadow-ban where my comments to my 3k friends only go out to about 20. FB ironically has the best social media designed platform and no limit to the amount of words. ALL the rest of the platforms force us to speak in three sentences, which is encouraging people to become stupid.

Reading about dancing, watching dance videos, is not the same thing as dancing on a hardwood floor, correct? Yet I am surrounded by "experts" blowing off what I have learned in nearly 35 years of practicing psychology and philosophy in my own day to day life--not just thinking about it. These "experts" decide without laying a foot on "the dance floor" that I'm wrong, and la de da, how the mind works is overrated.

Now that's STUPID. Why? Because it's telling Bruce Lee that a martial art isn't necessary because I know how to form a fist and use my leg to kick.

Yes, it's that retarded (means backwards).

We're surrounded by "stupid". Real friends discuss all the above and deal with becoming wise, a Bruce Lee, an Ayn Rand. A "dance expert through dancing on the hardwood floors." Not by watching videos and reading memes.

Same here.

I've got a post written in my head about "stupid". I don't believe people are born "stupid" - yes, people are born with differing mental capacities. But to me, "stupid" involves choices in how a person thinks (or doesn't think). It is a practice. Just as dealing with the world intelligently is a practice - regardless of what you were born with.

There are a whole lot of stupid folks with PhDs - and they've been revealing themselves spectacularly over the past 2.5 years.

Exactly! I mentioned to a friend recently that people (overall) don't "apply themselves". Yes we are born with the cards we are dealt with, but it's still up to us to be heroic and move outside of our present situation and understanding.

I am fed up with the local "censorship" by those who I interact with that decide because I'm either too forward, select words they don't like, or have the gall to suggest that just maybe--they ain't cutting the mustard.

The mind can't deal with all the data coming into it so it "filters" it and focuses on a few things. In NLP this is known as Meta Programs and was known to that group of practitioners (Milton Erickson was a focal point of design for NLP...look him up) back in the 80s. The other month someone is pointing out about a "doctor" talking about what NLP knew about 30+ years ago.

We have so much good information that is routinely blown off it's appalling. And "reading" isn't enough. I used to be a technical instructor. There are different levels of applying yourself to "reading":

1 - to read for enjoyment, to get the gist

2 - to read to understand how it works...this involves notes, reading more than once

3 - to read to explain, to teach: this requires that you actually DO THE STUFF YOURSELF.

Step 3 takes us from being a voyeur to being a participant...hence dancing is only learned on the dance floor. Yet in the last two years I've lost count of how many times "I know because I read it" suffices for actual practice.

Normally (meaning my 57 years before the Plandemic) I wouldn't give a crap but with my world destroyed, my future retirement destroyed, forgive me if I'm just more than a little upset.

Not to mention I seem to be developing symptoms of a neurology that is FAILING. I'm not the only one. No jabs, I suspect the spraying of heavy metals nano sized from the sky that people tell me I'm "silly" for even believing that they're not "exhaust".

Bretigne, my hat is off to you expressing yourself! Keep it up! Gimmie a comrade over what passes for today's "friends" any day. I know way too many people who won't say what you write but will tell me privately. Why? Because they don't want to "offend" anybody or "lose their audience"...I am presuming. Are we authentic by being quiet?

I think we are exactly in this New Normal position due to being cowed into being quiet, politically correct sheep, shackled by the fear of being shunned.

And I have been shunned more ways than one.
